Default Passport Question

My passport is going to expire in just over 6 months. I’m planning to get a new one the next few weeks. Does anyone know at what point do I need to inform Canadian immigrations (before or after I get my new passport)? Currently waiting for request for Medicals.

Thanks

Default Re: Passport Question

We were in the same boat just before our medicals. Once you have passed your medicals you would then be sending your passport off for your visa's, so you may as well renew them now and have new passprots for your new Canadian PR visa's.
