Default Passport delivery/return

Hi
Delighted to say that we got our PPR today! Nova Scotia here we come!
Just off out to celebrate

I just wondered what was the experience of those who have already submitted their Passport to the London High Commission? How long did it take from the date you posted your passport to the date that the passports were returned to you with the Visa?

I have seen on the PPR that it's possible to hand deliver the passports on a Thursday and pick them up in person 2 weeks later. For postal delivery they suggest 30 days wait
It would be interested to hear what was the "real" wait for those who already have the Visa?

Thanks for any info!

Congratulations

Ours took 3 weeks by post, although that included Christmas.

Thanks a lot!
Think we will go for the postal method since it seems to take about the same time and avoids a 3 hour trip each way to London!

I sent mine a Tuesday morning, and picked it up from the post office Saturday the week after - so 12 days, including mailing time from Norway.
