Does anyone know if you can apply for a passport on the same day as your oath ceremony or do you have to wait a few days/weeks etc?

Getting a passport is a doddle compared with what has gone before. It's quicker if you can deliver the application in person. I got my last one back in 10 days.

See link below - you need to wait 2 business days after citizenship ceremony before applying for a passport; I think this is because they check the applications against a database which they need time to update.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to wait another few days. Many thanks for all the replies!
