it says "no stopping" as the reason on the ticket, but the lady said the reason is cuz i said have a ncie day and it didnt come out as very friendly....i dont care about the fine, its more about the principal and abuse of her power!

So you're going to change that her attitude? the world is full minor people in authority who abuse it. How much time and effort is it really worth?

If the sign says no stopping and you did, then you committed the offence, she gave you a ticket, which she was authorised to do, there is no abuse there. No stopping signs are for a reason. She is hardly going to put on the ticket as a reason 'driver did not say pretty please'

Pay the fine and forget it. And speak nicely next time. Just another life lesson.

Pay the fine,an ex coworker spent a night in the slammer
when she was stopped for a traffic violation in Vancouver.
When the Police ran through her records ,they found that
she had outstanding unpaid traffic violation fines in ON and NS.

She was very descriptive about her overnight experience.
At least something good came out of it,she left and worked
as a street nurse for awhile.
