Default Paperwork - what to keep

We've started to de-clutter in preparation for the big move, and the next step is to sort out Bank Statements and other paperwork. I'm keen to gid rid of as much as possible, but for those of you taht are already in Canada, what sort of thins are worth retaining, and what period of bank statements should I keep ?

I Banked with HSBC in the UK and had the facility to print off statements for the past 6 months via Internet Banking.

I also brought this stuff with me which has all had a use;

Proof of no claims from your insurance company.

Equifax credit check report

Doctors & Dentists records

P45

6 months worth of old payslips

If you've got PR, then not a lot really. They don't recognise much of your UK stuff, so it won't help.

If, on the other hand, you're on a work permit and will be applying for PR at a later date, take absolutely everything with you.
