You can get PG Tips from the Walmart in Shawnessy.
Walmart Okotoks did have some but apparently an english lady went and purchased the whole pallet  I'm going past Shawnessy today, I'll pop in and grab some. On another note the Dollar Store in Okotoks has just started selling english chocolate and they have crisps coming in September. |

Be careful. According to Customs when my Sister in Law came over, chicken flavour oxo cubes are ok to bring in, but there are fines for bringing in beef flavour oxo cubes - can't recall the amount of teh fines but they did seem to be prety big
Whenever anyone comes over I get beef, lamb, chicken and veg oxo's (as well as instant Bisto mmmm). Cubes are much better than the pathetic sachets they sell here. |

Re: oxo
Has anyone tried making real gravy. It's terribly popular in most places around the globe, apart from the UK. Might even catch on one day there?
Till then little cubes of brown salty shit or tubs of chemicals containing mostly E numbers and wiff of bull will suffice. |

I consider myself quite well travelled and have noticed a distinct lack of "gravy" in lots of countries. U.S "country gravy" just isnt. Most countries will have a sauce or ju but it is not gravy. Again I make my own gravy using cubes to enhance the flavour. I do not use granules but know plenty of people who do. In the UK, I think it is a bit of a North/South thing too. When my southern niece came to stay, she had never heard of a pie dinner with gravy lol. And no that is not a Northern staple diet.:blink: |
