Our Stuff!!

picked up on Aug 7th, Part Container
arrived in Canada allegedly on Sept 9th. Some Debate for several weeks as to location of goods (Toronto or Montreal). many fruitless phone Calls (by Ben). Some hissy fit throwing (by me)
But today paperwork emailed to us. Very pleasant Conversation with nice lady from Canadian Customs, who phoned our movers direct to release the goods.
Also very helpful Concierge who has booked service elevator as a delivery rather than a move to avoid us having to pay any charges!
Every one in Canada is lovely (l Maybe over reacting here!)

No, no search by customs), As to what the delay was l have no Idea. But looks like all is well. Touchwood.
we are right in downtown Toronto, directly opposite the Sky dome and just north of the Gardiner.
The weather today is really freaky, lots of rolling fog, you shouldn't lookout of the 19th floor window and not be able the seethe ground. that's just wrong,
luckily we are within walking distance of the Customs building on Front street. So we had a Very pleasant trip.
Celebrated with obscenely large and gooey Ice cream on the way home!
