Taking a beeline in July towards Dunrobin, and Dunrobin Shore. Any thoughts on that? Had some great feedback from PaulCall who's in-laws and relatives live around Ottawa, he's off west too.

Would you reckon anywhere is viable as a commute to Kanata/Ottawa provided you live within north of the 417 up to Arnprior and Fitzroy?

You don't normally hit any traffic until Kanata, unless its snowing or heavy rain, then it can get a little slow. Some companies allow flex hours so if you head in for 9 you miss the bad stuff. Arnprior - 45 mins to east end. Fitzroy 35, Dunrobin 10-15 on a bad day. Carleton Place 35, Packenham 35. Rush hour 7-9. Hope that helps.
