Default The Office - DVD

Just had to say how brilliant I thought "The office" was - dont have BBC Canada, so this was the first time I had seen it.

Really begrudged paying the TV Licence fee for the BBC when I lived in the UK, but when you see something like this compared the total shite that is produced on North American TV, makes you realize that it was worth it!

It may be a tad "dry" for most North American tastes I guess, most of my co-workers seem to like their comedy more slapstick - but honestly, if you havent seen it yet - do yourself a favour and rent or buy it now!

I agree. I think "The Office" is a great show. We have it on DVD and it makes me laugh everytime. I'm a Brit living in the UK although hoping to move to Canada with my Canadian wife sometime next year. I don't know about the differences in humour but she loves the show too. Highly recommended in my opinion.

My canadian wife finds it quite amusing. I think its the funniest thing I've seen in years...that and 'knowing me , knowing you'

btw the way flatty38 can you buy it on dvd over here now? I've been wondering when it was going to be coming out here? we have BBC Canada so we watched it on that, but was hoping to buy it on DVD too.

Just been watching it 5 mins. ago (we get it on BBC America) and thinks it's great! My other fave. is Coupling. I really miss Top of the Pops since they took it off BBC America so to get our 'fix' we listen to Radio One Chart Show (top 40 thingame) over the internet! Thank gawd for the worldy widey webby thing

If you enjoyed the first season just wait until you see the second, its GREAT!

I wont spoil it for you by letting you know what happens, but its as good if not better than the first season. I was laughing out loud.

My wife who is Canadian can't understand thge humour and says that its dumb! what do they know?
