Yeah, if we're not too late to tell you, bring a good coat and/or layers and/or prepare to go shopping (hey, why not?) - it's hit a chilly spot. A high of
-15 today. I use the word 'chilly' loosely - I'm aware that that is merely a bit of a cooling off around these parts.

The wind is picking up so with the windchill it will be closer to -20.
Banff will no doubt have 6" plus of snow, now dont forget to pack the camera,!!!
I have some shots of the Banff area in the link below, in the sub album "canadian rockies".

I just popped out to switch on my Christmas lights. I went out in my socks, and didn't bother with a coat .... but I didn't hang about!!

oh and the reason I had to do that was that we've plugged the silly things into the wrong socket .... we do have one that can be switched on from inside the house .... and we do have a timer switch too, but I'm not sure where it ended up after the last move!

I wasn't gonna put them on til December, honest, but they look so pretty with a dusting of snow around, and my hubby finally gave in and let me buy one of the those little illuminated deer that moves its head up and down. I think it's cute (she says defensively) and funny too, cos they have one over the road the same, plus a stag that keeps looking over at ours as if wondering why his little herd has got split up.
Ok I'll have another glass of something warming .......
