nutritionist/dietician qualifications/jobs
i was just wondering if there any people on here who are working as nutritionists/dieticians in BC or Ontario at all?
ive always had an interest in this field and was wondering if it would help my employability in canada if i took a short course in the subject?
by short, i mean distance learning courses offered by colleges in the uk.
university level courses are out, as firstly they take too long (at least 3 to4 years), and secondly university fees are far too high.
ive seen several courses which cover huge ground but at a reasonable price.
anybody have any ideas whether its a good thing to go this way or not, pls?
im an engineer by trade, but in the past ive studied a lot of ancillary subjects in the past, some for my own interest, some for possible use as employability aids, and one or two have been very useful in that respect....ive studied astronomy, virus and bacterial infection, control and detection of diabetes mellitus, cardivascular health regimes, to name a few..!
