Yea, I hear what you're saying. I'm not really sure how much of an effect the price of beer has on people with these sort of problems, so I can't defend that.

I was thinking of the whole spectrum of drinkers though as well. If you think about a group of kids getting drunk on the bus stop every weekend (I remember doing this), you're not going to stop that situation from happening altogether. I would say though, that cheap plonk might aggravate the problem further. I'd rather my kids got stoned at the bus stop or only half as drunk as they might have because they could only afford half the alcohol. Unfortunately, it might just be quite difficult to define that "sweet spot" on price, between alcoholic or under-age consumers, to someone who just doesn't have much disposable cash and would like a tall frosty beer.

This is a pretty in-depth subject that I'm open-minded about. I just feel super-cheap booze has an overall negative effect on society but I have nothing to back it up. I also really want a beer now

Mr. Capstick. Yes, he reminds me of a nerdy overgrown schoolboy.

I've not seen any bears. Not really surprising if your father in law has them on the BBQ invite list.

If you're bored, it's your own fault. Life is short and there are lots of things to do. You just need to find something, get off your ass and do it.

The people are hardly inspirational but the scenery and the outdoor attractions make it more attractive than Wembley!

Funnily enough, we passed a mother and young-ish one near the end of your street last week, debating whether to cross the road or not.

You should have taken it home with you. They make great pets.

I think I repel them. Stupid bears - I want some to lurk in our garden. We've got a compost bin and everything too

Well compost in it won't help, apparantly you need to fill it with copious amounts of Tim Houghtons don-nuts and other niceties from your cupboard.

They'll have you house bound in minutes (and I suspect your neighbours will attempt to shoot you too).

Whilst I was the first to comment on the OP, I do not think threads should be closed just because people disagree with it.

It would be much better that the OP didn't start these banal threads in the first place.
