Hey
Our family live in BC. My hubby is a Plumber/Gas fitter. We want to hear from anyone living in Nova Scotia.
We are looking primarily into the demand for Plumbers/Gas fitters within the province. Is the need great? Low? Average?
Also is the cost of living in NS cheaper than that of BC?
Is the weather colder, hotter, wetter than BC ?
As you are aware the cost of a house in BC is astronomical! We are priced out of the market like so many. Nova Scotia holds a few ups for us for example affordable housing and flight time 5 hours 30 minutes ish from the UK by plane ✈ï¸.
Any advice welcome yays and nays on NS

Be aware that there is very little use of natural gas in NS. It is virtually non existent for residential or domestic use. Sadly oil is the main fuel. The only users are the hospitals in HRM and a very limited industrial base. Sorry to say that the bottom line is that there is little work for gas fitters.
