Hi
I am looking at traveling to Nova Scotia in late August/early September for a holiday, and as we are looking at emigrating there we want to check out different areas. I am an Electrician and my wife is a nurse, please can anyone suggest the best areas for us to target to suit our jobs. Also any B&B's around Nova Scotia (we are going to be on a tight budget as we are saving for the relocation).
Hope you can help
Phil and Liz.

Hi Phil and Liz..
Well there really is alot of places to stay and areas to visit, it would be to hard to suggest where is best, so why not go to www.novascotia.com and order your copy of the Nova Scotia tourist book. Its free and they will send it to you. You can go through it check places and prices look at the maps and make your own decisions. Hope that helps you.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but as an electrician/nurse, you do realise that you will have to re-qualify/re-train in Canada before being able to work over there. I think there is a three month grace period before having to take Canadian exams. I may be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!!) - perhaps somebody could confirm/deny??
Check www.gov.ns.ca for info - there is a brilliant interactive map which may help with the B+B etc.
Best wishes
