North shore Nova Scotia (photos including baby eagles)
Sorry...couldn't resist (what with all the talk of the 'north shore' and the warm waters), so here it is, a few snaps showing the 'real' north shore and the journey up there...

what lovely photos. Having never been there, it looks scarily like the very nice rural parts of UK or Scotland. (apart from the eagles)

Thanks for the nice comments guys (and the karma!), I really wasn't sure how this would turn out but seemed like a good idea at the time (to tell the story in pictures instead of words).
Out of all of them, my favourite is the one attached (no clue why, I just like looking at it). As far as I remember there was a nice house next to it but that little building seems to tell a story all of it's own.
The camera is just a trusty old Sony DSC-V1, point and click jobby. If the flash isn't ready it automatically takes a long exposure (and has a lucky habit of producing some cool looking shots as well as lots of bad ones!)
