North of Nanaimo ...??
Coming over to Vancouver Isaland in August for a month reccie.
Principally interested in Victoria and the penninsula neighbourhoods / communities and in Cowichan Valley communities but I'm thinking that whislt there we should really make the effort to look further afield. Plannning to hire RV for a week or so ... are there any other places we should be looking (as potential places to live / work) north of Nanaimo i.e. Parksville, Campbell River, Qualicum Beach or Comox???? I'm all up for having a proper look around but eqaully I've got to be honest that my wife will kill me if we end up living in the 'middle of no-where' ... and she's Canadian:) |

I'd go with Courtenay/Comox. Its kind of in the middle of somewhere. Good too if you like to ski. Decent population. Not far from either Nanaimo or Campbell River.
What do you plan to do to earn a living? That could have more to do with where you end up living. |
