NO going back now is the right description for me too!
Fly to Vancouver on Jan 10th 2008 start work on the 14th! My husband is coming with me for 10 days and then returning to England to hopefully sell house and cars.
From applying for a transfer through my company to starting work in Canada will have taken less than 3 months, Thnak goodness I have a cousin in the area who I can stay with!!
Will be looking for a house once we sell the house in UK.
Hope there is no problem at immigration although the company has had all paperwork drawn up by legal team I can't help but be a bit apprehensive.
Looking forward to a new life in Canada though.

Thanks for the good wishes Alvic
I must admit the house sale is worrying but it will have to go. I feel guilty dumping it all on hubby to do.
Roll on a new life together in Vancouver

Dogs and us are all flying on same Zoom flight Man/Calgary and then dogs staying two nights at kennels in Calgary and flying with Westjet on the Monday afternoon. God help them, if they only knew what was ahead of them

We arrive at 10.18am on Sunday 20th - this day month!

He's still not well, we'e spent about $600 now and they can't find what's getting at him. our pet insurance from the UK doesn't cover over here and the company I insured him with her have a 21 day clause before they'll pay for anything so Mal has to work harder

Ready to embrace my new beloved Province of Saskatchewan and the "mid sized Prairie town" that is Indian Head and is going to be "home"
And by the way here is a picture of said "home" which is totally ours, mortage free, from tomorrow!

Congratulations on your interview with Kindersley, that is half the battle

I dont know anything about them, but if you go to this link it is a heaven for truckers. Once there do a search for kindersley, or just ask about kindersley in this part of BE - it is solely dedicated to truckers.
Good luck with the interview - keep us posted

Archie stayed over in the kennels in Calgary for 24 hours but he forgot to buy any duty free when he came through, so I've told him he's not travelling on his own again
