No file number yet...
I applied for canada immigration on 15-April 2002 under Independent category....no file number yet....
I have send Buffalo fax and by mail too ...to ask my status..no reply from them..what should I do?

in the meantime you could contact your bank to find out if the application fee was cashed in... other than that there really isnt anything else...

I am in the same situation...We sent our application las april and have not
recieved an AOR...hopefully we will get it soon..good luck! and let us know as
soon as you get it
