#1
Hi All,
as you have gathered the day of reckoning is geting closer,we arrive on the 9th Of Oct, if you did' nt know already
Anyways we are still looking at staying near Truro for the first 3 night' s then off to where ever for another, so on and so forth.
The question is we are looking for a good night out on the 10 th -12th ie good food and hopefuly some local bands,do any of you have info on local bands that play on these nights in or around Truro.
Ps we have two children with us 11 & 14 ,idealy, country or easy listening stuff. Then again the kids will probably want heavy rock and the like

How about the folk music scene ,gaelic etc etc
Somewhere we can sit down and relax and listen to good music with a small refreshment to boot.If not the Truro area in those dates anything else happening in NS between 9th & 18th of Oct.

I don't know about music venues, but it occurs to me that there may be a variety of stuff going on as that will be the weekend of thanksgiving.

Truro just hosted a 4 day music event. I will look out for anything on then and will let you know. The Fairtrade Cafe would be the place to ask and Fridays they have music on. http://www.fairtradecountrycafe.com/
My favourite artist and friend is on in Truro on the 17th Oct, check out other dates around the area. He is worth seeing, he comes to the Merchantile up the road coming up to Christmas every year. He played at our Residency Party and even many locals had not heard him before, but are now great fans of his. My 18yr old loves his music too. http://www.davegunning.com/tourdates.html
