Re: Niagra falls

We went to Niagara Falls a couple of weeks ago - absolutely amazing. We bought the Adventure Passes for $39 which gets you into the four big attractions, including the Maid of the Mist. Excellent value for money.

The town of Niagara Falls is beautiful if you stick to the waterfront. There are the falls to look at and beautiful, manicured gardens to walk through. If you buy the Adventure Pass, you have free transport on the "People Movers" which bus you up and down the waterfront, and also the tram that takes you down the steep cliffside. (The main streets in the town are quite tacky and touristy but some people enjoy that sort of entertainment eg. amusement arcades, waxwork museums etc.)

We stuck to the waterfront and had a fantastic time.

Worth a visit also, is Niagara-on-the-Lake; a small town about 30 minutes away. Again, very beautiful and a world away from Niagara's casinos.

Hope you have a good time.
