Default NI and Tax Implications when leaving.

I am continuing to be paid by my english employer for a few months after I leave as part of a severance package, do i still have to pay NI in england and when can I apply for a tax refund? (not self employed I am PAYE)

If you are receiving income whilst living in Canada, you will need to report this on your Canadian return. You can also claim a credit for foreign tax paid. If you would have paid more tax in Canada than the UK, then you pay the difference.
