BTW...Souvenir...for cheap 'suds' have you been to le roi de la biere in Aylmer (near the marina). That dep (more just a beer store now) is reputed to be the cheapest in the area and often beats Costco for prices (and better selection). |

The Toronto Star which i painfully wasted 10 minutes each day reading is a waste of a tree. The Globe and Mail at least gives you a short 'snap shot' at the world outside although as someone else mentioned the quality of the stories and the lack of journalism makes them all a little limp.

I not only have a subscription to the Gruaniad but downloaded the OH from their talkboard. With that paper at home and the World Service in the car I hardly have to acknowledge being abroad.

www.intelligencer.ca www.shieldmedia.ca ("dobber" is a neighbour of mine) For canadian news I stick with the globe and mail, although I hope the idiots who comment on the stories are not refelctive of the general readership:eek: For real news I stick with the Guardian and the Times, and the Telegraph for the footy coverage. |
