BTW...Souvenir...for cheap 'suds' have you been to le roi de la biere in Aylmer (near the marina). That dep (more just a beer store now) is reputed to be the cheapest in the area and often beats Costco for prices (and better selection).

I was aware that there was a beer place in Aylmer. It's a bit of a hike, though, particularly as I don't drive.

The Toronto Star which i painfully wasted 10 minutes each day reading is a waste of a tree. The Globe and Mail at least gives you a short 'snap shot' at the world outside although as someone else mentioned the quality of the stories and the lack of journalism makes them all a little limp.

Smarty pants I like it. All you need now is a courvoisier(bad spelling I think) through an intravenous drip , but not while you are driving what more do you want!:thumbup:

Small town news..or the lack thereoff for those who are interested in the quiet life;

www.intelligencer.ca

www.shieldmedia.ca ("dobber" is a neighbour of mine)

For canadian news I stick with the globe and mail, although I hope the idiots who comment on the stories are not refelctive of the general readership:eek:

For real news I stick with the Guardian and the Times, and the Telegraph for the footy coverage.
