Just wanted to say HELLO!!!!! to all on the forum.
My wife and I have been mooching away in the background for over two years now and learning much in the process.
Many thanks to all the posters who have given us much insight as to the way the whole immigration process works and thanks for the many hints and tips on the things to look out for whilst taking the big plunge.
We have applied for PR in the Business class as Entrepreneurs and wondered if there are any others who have done the same who can divulge any help that may be of use to us?
We look forward to posting with our own views and comments which may be of use to others on the forum.
As we have just submitted our App. it will take a long time before we can give any instances of our own experiences with the whole process.
I have been to Canada many times since 1973 and in 2006 my OH and I travelled across Canada from Toronto to Vancouver by Plane, Train, Coach and Helicopter and enjoyed it ALL immensely.

Hi Guys
Thanks for all your kind words - most grateful!
We are looking at Sayward in the north of Vancouver Island as our first choice. But this will be dependant on whether I can get a good broadband connection to run my online businesses. I have put up another topic on this subject asking for any info peeps can give me regarding this subject.
But in any case, we are definitely going for a place on the Island.
Thanks
Oh! by the way - HELLO to my fellow Brightonians. Are you guys planing a jump across the pond too?

Hi,
Yes we are currently in the final immigration stage. The OH has been offered a job in Alberta.

Hi Guys
Thanks again for all your comments and encouragements - most appreciated.

We have not even been to the Island as yet but are hoping to get there in the next couple of years to do a reccy. Our business means that we cannot get away that easily, but once we have been accepted we will try to get out there for a preview.
We are easy going and may change our preferred location if it means an easier life I guess, but we shall make the decision once we get there.
