Newbie - Still at the planning stage
Hi all
Me and my husband (and two young children) have been discussing emigration for several years and narrowed it down to either New Zealand or Canada. After pretty much deciding that Canada was for us we are now trying to narrow down exactly where in Canada! Were initially considering Calgary or Edmonton, but have recently been looking towards Prince Edward Island. Would be grateful for any information anyone has on this area as the research seems to indicate great things about the place or pretty much suggest it has nothing to offer. Bit confused.
As we are unfortunately not exactly "desirable" at present we are also currently trying to up our education and skills to increase our points total. Anyone have any tips on boosting this?
All help, advice, chat, friends much needed and extremely welcome. Look forward to getting a greater insight into what we are thinking about getting ourselves into.

We too are at the early stages of planning this!
We have just booked our first recce trip to Nova Scotia in May to have a look at the area and suss out work etc.
There is a wealth of info on this site particularly the Wiki at the top of the page but fire away with your queries and you will get loads of great advice/information.
We also have 2 children under the age of 5.
We have been part of the BE site for about 6 weeks and have gained loads of brilliant info in this time!
