Dartmouth Crossing (takes no longer than driving from Bingley to Leeds in rush hour, maybe less) is going to be the biggest business park/retail outlet/entertainment/accommodation/jobs in the whole of Canada. I don't know what you mean, "where do you shop?" we shop everywhere for everything, there's not a thing we can't get.
Dream on.

Truro has more condos being built than Halifax!?! Come on!!! You've already commited professional suicide, why not try to salvage a little dignity while you can?
.....but a great place to be alive.

Truro has more condos being built than downtown Halifax and I predict will overtake Halifax as the main city as it is a natural communications hub whereas Halifax was once a major port. Halifax Airport is as near to Truro as it is Halifax.
The speed of sale of a property will depend on many things. Demand is currently exceeding supply - only overpriced or run-down properties stick around.

Halifax Airport is as near to Truro as it is Halifax.
According to Viamichelin it's 60 kms from the airport to Truro
39 kms from the airport to Citadel Hill, which is
situated right in the centre of Halifax.
