NEW TO NOVA SCOTIA
Hi,
Me and my husband move to NS last week and so far are loving it! We are currently looking for jobs which is fine...im sure we will get work doing something...
Are there any people in NS at the moment who would like to meet up for a drink/cinema/food and help us find our feet a bit?

Bit far from me
I live up near New Brunswick however I am planning on coming down to Bedford in a couple of weeks to stock up on some stuff at Pete's Frootique

Another one new to Nova Scotia here, although I am back in the UK for a couple of weeks at the moment. We are down the bottom of the Annapolis valley, not really close enough to Dartmouth/Halifax for regular meet ups, but would be nice to do something every now and again. I loved my summer in NS, hope you are settling in well.
Sliverdragon, we drove through your little town a couple of weeks ago on our grand tour - it seemed bigger than I expected it to be. I thought of you on the way through!

Yes it is a bit bigger than expected although shops are mainly on a couple of streets but isn't too bad and I can get most things I need with no problems
Should have said something we could have met up if I wasn't working

We were just passing through from a visit to PEI and we had a tour time booked at the Joggins fossil cliffs, so didn't stop. (Family trip before the boys went to Uni - brilliant time).
