I am planning to go to Toronto at the end of June next year on a 1 year work visa.


I am hoping to meet other indviduals who are going around this time or be put in touch with people who perhaps I could do a flatshare with.

I know its one year away but I like to be organised.

I don't know if you are set on sharing accommodation with fellow Britons or if you are willing to share with others.

In Canadian parlance, housemates and flatmates are called roommates. If you do a Google search for ROOMMATES + TORONTO, you'll find several websites that specialise in hooking up roommates with each other.

try www.craigslist.com select Canada and Toronto, there is a decent roomshare section in there and will give you a chance to get some ballpark numbers.
