hi, was posting on husbands site but have found how to on my own now
lots of questions i have. been here 5 weeks now me husband and 2 sons 12 and 14 in kamloops. anywhere i can get a job with out a resume. need to get out more any ideas. need some sort of job. i am happy though, also any idea how much a medical is for PR over here in canada, and can you get child tax credit if on twp waiting for PR to come in please can you reply to thread as cant take pesonal messages yet thanks in advance max x

No, you need a resume for job hunting - even for the most basic jobs.

There is a wait period of 18 months if you are on a TWP. You will qualify after 18 months or when you have PR status - whichever is first. See the wiki http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Family_and_Child_Benefits

I can potentially offer you part time work for cash, if you're interested. My business is in Barnhartvale. You'll need to be happy to work outdoors and be physically fit.

hi work outside, my god what is it, dont much fancy shoveling snow, its not that i dont have a resume, it just seems a pain in the bum to keep posting them , so what is it and whats the pay, i do have a work permit. let me know thanks maxine

thanks for the offer, but not really me, plus i have to take my kids to school around that time. but thanks again. im sure if you have any work like that in the school holidays my 14 year old son would be interested he always likes money and is young and strong and not afraid of hardwork maxine
