Default New Health Card

Hi All
I have recently received my new BC Health card trouble is I've had to return to the UK for the time being and not sure how many months it will be before I return to Canada. Do I need to cancel the card as they have sent my first bill or can they freeze payments until I return, i will call them direct just wanted a bit of advice first.
all help welcome
Thanks
James

Unless you let MSP know you have left, they will be billing you and expect payment and will not off set it against future premiums.

Thanks for your reply
Would you advise I call them to cancel card & then re-register on my return
& go through the 90 day period again.

Call them to cancel or cancel through their website, and yes you will likely have to wait the 90 days again.
