Greetings everyone,

l'm new to the forum, and l wish to start off by saying how much l'm looking forward to the views and opinions from others.
l used to live in Canada between 1956 to 1970,even after all this time of absents l still have this yearn to move and settle in Canada,l know this won't happen,so l just have to carry on,and make the best of what l got.
l lived in England roughly 35 years, and in 2004 november decided to make a new life in Turkey sw of the agean sea, well l've been here now for 3 years, life is a lot better then it was back in Britain.
My profession was a self employed organic gardener in England, but here in Turkey, life is more laid back since l can live off investments reasonably well.
l think thats about it,until next time.

Hi oobee

Welcome to the forums! If you returned, I'm sure you'd see many changes since 1970 (although some would disagree with me *chuckles*).

Whereabouts in Canada did you reside?

Good day,NessieOggy,
l had residence on the north side of Toronto a place called Ajax. When l left my home town ,Ajax in 1969 december, the population was roughly 12,000,l suppose its probably four times that amount because the city of Toronto has taken authority of the town.
lts very unlikely l'll return to Canada, because when my dad decided to move back to England in 1969,l found out that he didn't go for the daul nationality passports,l was 15 at the time when l was told this eventually in England, which put me in a very difficult position later in the years as l became older, because my intentions was to go back to the country l felt comfortable in.
Oh,well thats in the past, and now l moved on to a better life then what England can provide.
