Hi,
How is the new citizenship test different from the old one, considering that there is now a new Guide that we need to study? Could I still use the sample questions based on the previous Citizenship test.
Thanks mate.

I doubt that the test will much different for most of the questions. The major shift has been from the "Canadian mosaic" to assimilation. The questions on equality will be traps. Genital mutilation is now considered naughty.

Dont know about the new test, but the old one the only ones you HAD to get right (or else) were the ones on voting etc. The rest you could flunk half and it was OK...nothing more than an english comprehension exercise. No mention of passing grades on the current cic site though...
The new study guide questions dont look very different, so the richmond library primer is probably still a help.

The TO library site was recently updated to reflect the new book: http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/m...nship_test.jsp
