Hi all
just a quick hello,I am looking at moving to canada in a few months as a truck driver and was hoping to get as much advice and info as poss.

Does anyone have experience in trucking over there?

We are aiming to go to winnipeg as there is quite a bit of work there.

Although not a trucker myself I do know a little about it. Canada is desperate for truck drivers and many companies will even help you to get over here as long as you sign a 1 year contract with them. H&R transport in Lethbridge, Alberta is just one that I know of. My sisters husband was all set to sign up and move over but he ran into health concerns and had to cancel. http://www.hrtrans.com/

Hope this helps....

You are welcome Si! $8'500 is a joke!! As I mentioned, my brother in law was about to sign up with H&R but had some high blood pressure and that halted it all.

Good luck

Mike
