Never on a Sunday
What for the love of God is going on.
Nova Scotians have voted by 98,726 to 81,110 for the Sunday shopping laws to continue.
Nova Scotia is now the only province with a blanket ban on Sunday shopping.
Do they not know what we Brits expect when we emigrate there.
Next they will expect us to go to church or sumfing.
What am i supposed to do all day.Go for a walk and look at all the trees......huh!
It's like going back 30 years ago, having to spend the day with family....I DON'T FINK SO.
Well if they carry on like this i might just have to move someplace where they go fings right like.....................here.

Re: Never on a Sunday
We can boost about being the only province in Canada.....that is sooooo old fashioned!
By the way I voted for it....
I don't think the issue is over yet though, still to many people that want it.

And boondocks means what? I have heard the expression, but have no idea what the origin of it is, and so on. These things can be important to me!

Boondocks is usually around a fishing shanty or village, usually has sailors and fisherman hanging around....the rough side of town.
remember the song "Down in the Boondocks, " now if I could only remember who sang it....
