If there is anybody out there in the Calgary area who is missing playing netball, then there is a club here. Found it when we arrived and it's really friendly, takes all abilities and levels, and it's been a great way to meet people - lots of other Brits, Canadians and Aussies!

If I were a bit nearer i'd be in like flynn. Played county for years and even had England trials back in the day

(That was before the ban for attacking an umpire though )

I was just about to add something about the "physical" side of the game.

I played in a mixed match once. Let's just say the women put themselves about a bit.

It reminded me of a football match I played in against a prison team.
