I got canada PR in March 2005 after receving PR, I went back to US. Now I am married, does anybody knows if I can apply my wife PR while being in US. I live Portland which is near Vancouvar. Is there any way I can show my stay in Canada in order to file my wife PR?
I am thinking of moving to Canada in Nov 2005 but then my wife would not be able to accompany me since she does not have canada PR.
Is there any way I can start my wife's PR process while staying in US?
Any feedback will be of great help.
Thx
Mit

Only citizens can sponsor whilst being out of Canada themselves, you need to be resident in the country (I don't think Portland is close enough
) to sponsor someone if you are a PR.
