Re: Need advise on legally married girlfriend and low skilled project
When I spoke to Imm Can I was informed that we needed to be separated. This includes Revenue Canada having you listed as separated and residing at different residences. Had my divorce not come through before we sent in the spousal sponsorship app we could have included my separation agreement with the application as additional 'proof' that I was separated from my ex-husband.

Re: Need advise on legally married girlfriend and low skilled project
hey guys, once again thank you ever so much for the help..
Well as it stands at the moment she has been seperated from him for almost 2 and half years but as far as this being offical in terms of revenue being made away i dont believe this to be the case, they have been living at two seperate address for the 2and half years, does this mean its legal ?
Am i getting myself confused..

surely her getting a divorce would be the best option as the seperation is so long standing.
if she cant/ wont then she needs to see a solicitor in her home state who can clarify the issue for you all. i would think that if you can show ex-hubby is living somewhere else and has been for 2 years + then that should be enough. but check with a lawyer in your state, good luck
