Default need advice: eye sight problem

Hi,
I will have to appear for medical soon. I've eye sight problem: right eye is 6/6 (with glasses), while left eye is 6/24 (with glasses). I consulted three ophthamologists (eye specialists) about left eye. They told that this was same since childhood and it has no treatment and it will not deteriorate. None of the ophalmologists recommended any medicine, as I do not suffer from any disease. In daily life I feel no problem at office or anywhere doing anything. Visually both eyes look same and normal. Will I be able to pass medical test?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Judging from what you say above, I'd say that you have nothing to worry about. If you're not going to be a burden on the healthcare system, why would they care?

We have got our medicals this weekend. I have no sight in my left eye as a result of an accident years ago. From what I understand, if you can convince them that it is not a problem as a result of a disease that is going to gradually get worse and become a drain on the Canadian economy by costly medical bills you should be alright.

I would suggest that you get a letter from your opthamologist suporting your case, that you can take with you to your medicals. This is what has been suggested to me by the CIC medical examiner and this is what I am doing.

PM me if you want more specifics

Regards

Graham

A 15 year old case of TB, cured and forgotten about, has got CIC in a flap. No burden, no problem .. except to them. Who knows how they work, or what they consider to be acceptable ..
