Hi There,

Does anyone have experience with hiring nannies in Ontario. We live in Caledon.

We have our first child on the way and because we are both professionals we will require a nanny.

can anyone provide any advice on hiring a nanny and indicative costs for live in or live out? Pros and Cons etc?

This is for hiring a person outside of Canada obviously.

I would use an agency. If you google something like nanny agencies Ontario you should be able to find plenty. I have several clients who have employed nannies through agencies in BC and they seem to work out well.

We use Nannies On Call, I believe they're also in Ontario. They do all the legwork but you will pay $$$
