Default NAFTA and temporary work permit

I'm an electronics engineer and Mexican Citizen, currently working in Saudi Arabia. There is a possibility that a company in Canada will offer me a job within a couple of weeks. Since I'm a Mexican citizen I believe I can qualify under NAFTA for a work visa.

I'm also about to submit a PR application for immigration to Canada under the skilled worked category.

Will this affect my temporary work visa application?

If I submit the PR application a couple of days or weeks after I get the temporary work permit under NAFTA, can I claim the 10 points for arranged employment and the 5 points for adaptability?

Thanks for your help and time.
