Multicultural London
Could anyone living in London Ontario tell me how multicultural the city is?we looking to move there and I'm just thinking how my kids would do at school and stuff.thanks

Ergo, if multicultural's what you're seeking, London would not be first choice.

According to the 2006 census, 84.8 percent of the population of London are White, 2.2 percent are Latin American, 2.2 percent are Arab, 2.2 percent are Black, 1.8 percent are Chinese, 1.8 percent are South Asian, 1.4 percent are Aboriginal, 1.1 percent are Southeast Asian, 0.6 percent are West Asian, and 1.9 percent are other ethnicities.[45] In the 2001 census the predominant ethnic origins of Londoners were English (31.9%), Canadian (31.8%), Scottish (21.6%), Irish (19.1%), German (10.6%), French (9.2%), Dutch (5.8%), Italian (4.6%), Polish (4.4%), Portuguese (2.5%), and Ukrainian (2.4%).

London Ont is famously unicultural. I suppose in terms of children you should look at as you would a move to, say, Inverness.

Brampton is more of a multicultural city and probably a better place to live and work for a chef.
