Default MSP through employer

Another day, another query

My other half and me have applied for MSP - and are awaiting our cards, confirmation etc. It was my understanding we would just be billed for our premiums - however have started new job today and there seems to be the option of having our premiums deducted from my salary - is this right and if so is there any benefit of doing this? To be honest would rather just be billed personally

If they're just going to deduct it from your salary, I don't see much benefit. I suppose you won't forget to pay the premiums that way though.

I get mine in the mail, then pay it through online banking.
