Default Mr. Miller please suggest

Dear Mr. Millar,

I am very new reader of this site. I applied to singapore 13 months back from dhaka, Bangladesh. My self assessment
score is over 70.

I am waiting for interview. But there is no news regarding singapore embassy. On line status shows that they started processing my file within 5 days after receiving my application. Please give me some idea regarding singapore recent file processing. Which month file they are processing for interview?

I think selection decision regarding my file will be held before March, 2003. Should I think?

Please advise.

If interview is required then it is highly unlikely to have it prior to the March
2003 deadline in your case.

Hil Miller

CHC Singapore does not notify me interview required. My friend in my area received interview required letter after receiving AOR. I know personally 3/4 person who got visa and preparing to move to canada. All of them don't received any interview required letter.

Please advise me why someone received interview required letter and someone not received such letter.

CHC singapore time 16 months to take final dicision if no interview is required. Are there any chance to get selection decision within coming 3 months?

Thanks.

Interview waiver is granted only when processing officer determines that a selection
decision can be made on the basis of information and documents provided with the
application and if there is nothing left what needs to be verified, clarified or
assessed during the interview. So, often those with less complete and/or perfect
application package are required to attend the interview.

Also all applicants who submitted their cases to visa posts other than the one
responsible for immigration applications from their country of legal residence (so
called "out of jurisdiction applications") have no chance for interview waiver.

Hi Miller,

Thanks for your reply. CHC singapore does not clarify for any submiited documents to me. I think provided documents are ok. I am requesting you to again please give some idea why from Singapore someone get interview required letter and someone not received the interview required letter. What is the difference between these people who received interview required letter or Not.

Again thanks.

What other explanation do you want? There is no other one - please read again my
previous reply in which I have clearly explained when interview waiver can be
granted. Visa post will not ask you to "clarify any submitted document" at all - if
decision cannot be made on the basis of existing documents (providing that all what
required is submitted) then you will be called for the interview, period.

If you are asking why someone gets interview letter sooner than someone else then
note that each case is processed at it own pace and even cases which may seem
similar and were submitted at the same day may be months (or years) apart in the
processing time.
