I am currently employed in the automotive industry in Birminghham and am considering emigrating to Canada.

The area around Windsor seems to have a fair amount of automotive industry. Can anyone let me know what the area is like and what the employment prospects are?

Windsor, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Oshawa (and some other cities) are very significant auto/auto parts manufacturing centers. Off the top, I can't say what job prospects are like, but Ontario is committed to encouraging more growth in this sector of the economy.
