Default moving to Nova Scotia

Hello BE

We came across this forum by chance, and have found very helpful info here.
OH is British, I'm a returning Canadian from Ontario - been in Scotland 8 yrs.
We're relocating to Nova Scotia - after a short recce visit to the Halifax area.
BritishExpats all over Canada seem to know the country better than I do now, so have been catching up via your interesting experiences!
Looking forward to more insights and opinions, especially Re: Nova Scotia.

Thanks
2NS

Welcome to the forum, 2NS. As you may have discovered in reading the website, several members of the BE forum are in your position, that is, families in which one partner is British and the other is Canadian, and they are in the process of moving from one country to the other.

All the best with your move.

Thanks very much Judy.

Our app. process seemed quite drawn out once it got to London, compared to what I'd read here of others in the same boat - due to what I think are the ambiguous instructions about when exactly to submit Police Certs. - not sure if anyone else had similar experience, but it seems it set us back 4+ months!
We could explain should anyone else about to submit apps. to Canada via Family Class be similarly confused.

Ah well, we got our letter today requesting OH's passport, so all's well that ends well.

So now onto shipping, etc ...!

Thnx
