Moving money
I need to change our Euros to CAD's.What do most people do?
A straight transfer with a bank,or go with a company to get the best rate? What do I need to watch out for? THANKS GUYS |

We give a direct debit order to Custom House currency brokers, I book a rate, they take the money direct from my account and then deposit it into my CAN$ account. I pay no transfer fees or charges for this. Banks charge a wire transfer fee and the rate is usually a few points lower.

The spread between the buy and sell rate. What they charge us is more than they pay for the currency.
