I just can't believe it everything is going so very fast now. The removals have been finalised, our tickets are booked and I have even manged to get a 2 bed apartment in Burnaby.

The apartment is on University Crescent. Can somebody tell me a bit about public transport links in this area and whether it is possible to get around from there without a car for a short while. My question is would it be necessary to get a car and also is $1550 per month reasonable for a 2bed 2 bath apartment on Burnaby mountain.

I am sure I would get good advice from all of you but I just wanted to add that most of all the agent accepted all my credentials / paperwork for a rental based on UK references.

There are loads of buses taking students down to the sky train station so yes, you can get by without a car for a while.

It is an upscale neighborhood and they are mostly quite new up there. It is not an unreasonable rent.
