I've worked in many cities around Canada it earned its name deadmonton well... When we closed the brewery I was glad I never had to go again.. never missed the place! its a frozen wasteland in winter, and dull in summer.... maybe its better than Winterpeg or Regina.. but fall's well short of Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, St john, Vancouver, and even Calgary IMHO too a point... I'd rather be in Moncton or Fredricton than Edmonton.. even Whitehorse is in front (can't comment on Yellowknife or Quebec that's why their left out) |

I see lots of these guys going bust as they had spent beyond their means and not put aside for less-certain times...analagous to the UK coal miners in 1984-5. |
