Hi there,
We're moving to bc this summer from london, looking at doree bonner and gb liners, does anyone have any recent experiences with either. I know doree bonner had some negative comments a while back, was wondering about recently ?????
thanks

There are a zillion and one threads on recommendations for moving companies, if you do a search on the boards you'll find them.

What ever you do, don't use Pearson's, or UTS Pearson, or Pearson home moving.
They are diabolical and unethical

Sorry, too long ago for our experiences to be of any relevance. Good luck though. It's a very stressful time!

We used White & Co in 2013. Everything went very smoothly, I'd recommend them.

We are using doree boner and so far our experience of them have been fantastic. They packed our house up and loaded it to shipping container, it was like watching a game of tetris the way they fitted it all in the shipping container..it left the uk 16 april and is due to arrive in canada 11 may then it gets put on a train for 8 - 10 days before it reaches vancouver.. my husband and I were very pleased we chose them, my sister used them for her move to oz and they were brilliant so thats why we chose them...

Now, I seriously doubt I would have an issue and that they wouldn't even try to take it to court, but I'm taking no risks until I have PR XD
Once I get my PR, the review is going straight back up again.

I have used GB Liners for 2 international moves and both have been successful.

Almost a year ago we used GBLiners, SW London to Vancouver Island for a part container load. Not a thing was broken and we had a very good experience with them. However it did take 11 weeks (no idea why but we didn't chase it either).
