i ask because under canadian law he must approve that they move out,
we went through this, although mine wasnt on my daughters birth certificate.
So anything for you to look into i am afraid, you will need to gain permission from the said guy to remove them from the country, i know a total pain, but you will be asked for it..........

do a search on the forum a few people have gone through this, we got it drawn up with a solicitor and they sent the letter and was returned to them, wasnt a hassle for us, just another piece of paperwork...............
