I got a packaging company out of the Yellow Pages and ended up moving with large, surplus MacDonalds boxes. It's normally cheaper to get bubblewrap from a wholesaler too.

I searched E-bay and got some good deals and bundles of various sized boxes including tape too.
Please don't tell me that packing boxes never occured to you before now!!

I'm not having much luck tonight. There's another thread discussing travel escorts for elderly folk, so just to be helpful, I googled "travelling escorts".
Well, I don't think they have elderly folk in mind, I must say.

MY OH has hit on a great idea for moving boxes. He was talking to a man who owns the local tropical fish store.
They have live fish delivered in containers inside large insulated boxes. The boxes are line with about 1 inch of polystyrene all around and so are really strong and can take any knocks.
As a business he often has to pay to get rid of them and so has tole us just to let him know how many we want when the time comes and he will just drop them off for us.
If you have a store like this in your area it might be worth asking.
